I am a ‘real’ human being, meaning that I am able to freely and deeply be myself, not an all-knowing expert. I am a real person who prides myself on relating to others genuinely.

I designed Flourish to be a space where you feel secure, at ease and ultimately to do the important work necessary for healing and change to take place.
Is my style right for you?
My therapeutic approach can be described as friendly, empathetic, validating, collaborative, challenging, empowering, fun and creative. I will do my best to understand and validate your struggle. At the same time gently challenging you to gain a better understanding of your inner self. Next we collaboratively work on nurturing lasting solutions for you to realize your goals during your time at Flourish and beyond.

What qualifies me to work with you?
I have successfully completed a number of trainings that are evidence-based. Why is this so important to you and your treatment? Evidence-based practice is a process in which a therapist combines well-researched interventions with clinical experience, ethics, client preferences and culture to guide and inform the delivery of treatment. The therapist and client work together to identify what works, and under what conditions. This approach ensures that the treatments and services, when used as intended, will have the most effective outcomes as demonstrated by the research.

Providing tailored services is my specialty. I have invested my time in specialized evidence-based training that makes me unlike most therapists in the Niagara Region. So how does this benefit you? In a nutshell, it is likely I can provide you with what is vital for change. Your role is to engage in the process and watch yourself grow.
Over the course of my career I have worked with clients of many ages, demographics and cultures. I am confident in my ability to treat a wide variety of mental health struggles at any age. Flourish provides service to clients age 12 and up. If I am not confident in my ability to cultivate your growth I will refer to someone who will.
